　How are you all at the beginning of a new year? I think the New Year is a valuable moment that you can forget the hustle and bustle of the year, which has just passed, to feel clear from the bottom of your heart, and to start and have new expectations. It is important to make your own goals in the past year at this time when you can feel fresh. Given this time last year, early in the year, the problem of the corona was attacked one after another, and students and faculty and staff were forced to respond to unusual every day. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who did our best to regain as peaceful days as possible. And now that the new year of 2022 is reached, this year is full of prayer for a peaceful year. The university has begun a new medium -term target period once every six years from April. Will we be able to achieve the "eternal development feat" in the preamble of this specific goal and planning? Along with the proposition, he sincerely worked on the challenges, and also showed a strong intention to develop students who could take the world in the future and link them to solutions. This may be a very big issue as a goal that one university has set, but what is important, what is important, and what to act specifically. I think it is very important to send it to the world, attract many people, and practice it yourself. In order to move forward one step towards the big goals we have, the basis of today, today, is based on reliable beliefs. For that purpose, it is also important to be eager to explore important phenomena and principles that no one has yet noticed from a new perspective. We need to come into contact with people with various values, respect their individuality and diversity, and also expand their activities to demonstrate their originality. In addition, we must forget the joy and success of people, and when people are facing difficulties, we take the initiative in reaching out, the size, courage, and compassion. Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology will confront these major issues with all the efforts of all members and fulfill their responsibilities with the students who will be responsible for the future. I would like to share the future full of expectations with everyone in the fine feeling of the New Year.
