If you send a Twitter thread to a friend, save an airplane boarding pass with a PDF, or share the entire article, just one screenshot may be insufficient.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to share multiple screenshots.
In some cases, you may need to send in the wrong order or organize a large amount of screenshots to find what you need.
But thankfully, using the scrolling screenshot function on the iPhone can solve this problem.
What is a scrolling screenshot?
If you use a scrolling screenshot, you can take long screenshots such as apps, web pages, and PDFs on your iPhone.
The scrolling screenshot is a bit different from taking a normal screenshot on the iPhone, and the image and text of multiple screens are displayed on one frame.
Screen shots correspond to anything, from multiple screenshots to those with iPhone screens.
Here are some ways to take screens shots on the iPhone, from iOS native functions and screenshots on the entire web page to third -party apps.
1.Recording the screen
When it comes to scrolling screenshots, it is often the case that the screen is recorded. When you record the screen, you can share as much as you like.
To enable screen recording on the iPhone, go to "Settings" → "Control Center".
Next, tap the plus ( +) button next to "Screen Recording".After that, go to the "Control Center" and tap the "Screen Record" button.
After the countdown for 3 seconds, the iPhone starts recording the screen.
If you want to stop recording, tap the red status bar at the top of the screen and select "Stop".The recorded image is saved in the "Photo" app.
By default, the iPhone records internal audio such as system sounds and notification sounds. However, this works only when enabling Ringer.
To do, open "Settings" → "Sound and Tactures" and adjust the sound settings you want to hold in the recording.
It is also possible to record audio using the built -in microphone of the iPhone or an external microphone.
You can enable the microphone during the screen by simply tap the "Mike audio button" at the bottom of the screen during the screen recording.
Finally, both the microphone and the ringer are turned off and recording silence.
2.Take a full page screenshot
The full page screenshot shoots the entire page, including the parts that are not displayed on the screen.
To shoot a full page screenshot, press the "Raise the volume" button and the "side" button at the same time to shoot a normal screenshot.
If you have a home button, press the "Home" button and the "side" button at the same time.
Next, select "Full Page" at the top of the screenshot option. If you scroll the page you want to capture and drag a highlighted box, you can select the area you want to capture.
This option can be used in various Apple apps such as Safari.
3.Enable screenshots with assistivetouch
If there is a problem with the iPhone button, you can create a full -page screenshot using AssistiveTouch.
To enable AssistiveTouch, select "Settings" → "Accessibility" → "Touch" → "AssistiveTouch".
Next, turn on "AssistiveTouch" and enable this function. After that, a white dot is displayed on the screen. This can be moved by touching and dragging.
If you enable AssistiveTouch, you can double tap the icon or tap "Device" → "Others" → "Screenshot" to take a normal screenshot.
You can also customize the AssistiveTouch menu to make it easier to shoot these screenshots.
To make it easier to use full -screenshots with AssistiveTouch, tap "Customize Top Level Menu" from "Accessibility" settings.
Next, select the icon of the action you want to replace, or tap the plus ( +) button, select "Screenshot", and add it to the top menu.
Four.Connect multiple screenshots with a third -party app
With this third -party app, you can shoot multiple screenshots and connect them later.
In many cases, there are options that connect existing screenshots in the library and automatically capture.
In addition, some apps can select the start and end position of the screenshot. You can also save screenshots in a lossless format.
Many third -party apps have additional functions such as not only connecting screenshots, but also annotation, image management, and social media sharing.
Many of these functions already exist in iOS natively, but the third -party apps often provide custom settings so that they can have better experiences.
Share a full page screenshot
There are many ways to share scrolling screenshots when you can't cover one screenshot.
However, if you use the above method, there is no need to worry about sending screenshots in the wrong order and confusing the other person.
Screen shots can be used for posts to VLOGs and social media. In addition, you can easily show how to get to point B from point A.
