Can Don Quijote's cheap noise canceling earphones beat AirPods? Buy or wait the Judge

From Don Quijote's PB "Passion Price Plus", the completely wireless earphone "UNNOISE T1" with a noise canceling function has been on sale since August 2020. The actual price is 8980 yen (excluding tax), which is cheap, but how is the ability? Mr. Kazuya Orihara, an AV critic, strictly checked the sound quality.

"UNNOISE T1" sold at Don Quijote affiliated stores nationwide from August 7, 2020. There are two colors, white gray and black, and the actual price is 8980 yen excluding tax. Completely wireless earphones equipped with a canceling function (noy-cancelling, ANC) are selling well. In addition to Sony, which has been focusing on noise cancellation for a long time, Apple launched “AirPods Pro” in October 2019. It took the top share at once, and the momentum is still continuing.

　At first, noise canceling compatible completely wireless earphones were only high-end class. Sony's "WF-1000XM3" is priced at 26,420 yen (including tax), and AirPods Pro is slightly more expensive at 30,580 yen (same). From around the summer of 2020, products from famous manufacturers have started to come out for less than 20,000 yen. For example, Huawei's "FreeBuds 3i" (actual price 14,800 yen including tax) was released in June, and Oppo Japan's "OPPO Enco W51" (15,800 yen) was released in September. However, it still looks expensive compared to normal wireless earphones that can be purchased for 5,000 to 8,000 yen. Meanwhile, Don Quijote has introduced a completely wireless earphone called “Passion Price PLUS UNNOISE T1 (model number: ANC-TWS1)” with a market price of 9878 yen (tax included). There are products from overseas brands such as Mpow and TaoTronics that cost less than 10,000 yen, but many people would say that domestic brands are safer.

Don Quijote is active in developing earphones, and in November 2017 they worked on the first completely wireless earphone "DZBES-100-D". In 2019, we have expanded our lineup of noise-cancelling compatible devices, such as the release of the noise-cancelling wired earphone “UNNOISE Y1” and the wireless neckband type earphone “UNNOISE U1”. I have tested the original DZBES-100-D in the past, and the sound quality was good for the low price. This time, in order to confirm the power of Don Quijote's noise canceling, we decided to test it while comparing it with the UNNOISE U1 released in 2019 (actual price 6578 yen, tax included), centering on the UNNOISE T1.
