Google, 1 connector Bluetooth connection function "Fast Pair" can synchronize between Android devices-CNET Japan
Google's "Fast Pair" is a very convenient feature that makes it easy to pair Bluetooth accessories with "Android" devices. However, so far, the connection settings have been limited to devices that perform pairing operations.
Fast Pair is like Apple's "AirPods" pairing, just place the Android device next to the Bluetooth accessory and start pairing settings. Using it will display an alert on the screen of the device, and the pairing can be completed with one click.
However, there is only one inconvenience to this feature. In Fast Pair, you can only pair with individual devices, and you need to repeat pairing operations for each handheld device.
But on November 27th, Google released the ability to synchronize Android connection information between Fast Pair devices. The object is a device with a later version of Android, which is expected to be available on Chromebook in 2019.
The new feature to synchronize Bluetooth pairing information between Android devices is similar to Apple's approach. For AirPods (and all Bluetooth headsets equipped with Apple's "W1" chip), the pairing information is immediately synchronized to all "iOS" and "macOS" loading devices registered in the same "iCloud" account.
For Fast Pair, use the Google account to synchronize the required information between devices.
Google is working with hardware partners, mainly headphone manufacturers, to promote device response to Fast Pair. Specifically, Jaybird's headset "Tarah Wireless Sport", as well as Anker SoundCore and Bose's planned future products will correspond to Fast Pair, Google said.
