We conducted a survey to explore the secrets hidden in the "Galaxy Z Fold3 5G" in -camera

What did you see there?!

While playing around with the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, I found something that bothered me. It's the in-camera. The in-camera of the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is the first camera with a built-in display in the Galaxy series.

The top GIF image shows the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G switching between the out-camera and the in-camera. It is not very noticeable when using the out-camera, but when you switch to the in-camera, you can see its existence.

Take a closer look at what it looks like...

If you look closely, you can see that there is a layer of display with pixels thinned out above the lens part so that the in-camera is not noticeable. When the screen is bright, it looks like this.

This is when the screen is dark. The layer will automatically darken to make it less noticeable.

I turned the screen sideways to watch a YouTube video. I don't really care about the presence of the in-camera.

Well, I didn't really care if it was just this, but actually this in-camera layer is a bit... Apparently, it seems to affect the image quality of the in-camera.

First, take a look at the in-camera image of the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G without layers. There is no particular problem and it is reflected firmly and neatly.

Here's an image of the in-camera of the "Galaxy Z Fold3 5G".

First, take a look at the rendering of the light. Is it because there are layers, or is the light diffusely reflected? refraction? I know you are. And it seems to be corrected by software, and the image quality is slightly worse than the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

As for the folding display, it's getting better with each successive generation (in other words, both models have cleared a certain level of quality in terms of display), so the 2nd and 3rd generation cameras with built-in displays are also available. It will get better as time goes on.

Personally, I think this camera with built-in display is good because the screen can be used widely.
